When will I receive my camcorder?

We ensure your package arrives 2-3 days before your wedding date!
What is the turnaround time for my footage and video?

As soon as we receive the camcorder in the mail, our team starts editing! You will receive your organized raw footage within two weeks and your final curated wedding video within four weeks of receiving your CBF box.
How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend that you book at least 3 weeks in advance to guarantee availability. If your wedding day is less than 3 weeks away, please reach out to support@capturedbyfriends.ca with your inquiry and we will get back to you within 24 hours to confirm availability.
How long do I get my camcorder for?

Our rentals work on a 7-day rental period. The first day of your selected rental period is your wedding date, and your last day (7th day) is when the CBF box must be shipped back by.
Is the camcorder easy to use?

Yes! We use Sony 4K Handycam camcorders — and they're about as simple as it gets. Turn it on, press record, film the moment. No experience needed. Your mum, your grandma, your best friend — anyone can pick it up and capture something beautiful. Once your booking is confirmed, we send over a comprehensive CBF guide complete with video tutorials, a suggested shot list, and everything your wedding party needs to make the most of the day.
What if my camcorder is returned late (after the 7th day of my rental period)?

Life happens — and we totally get it. If your CBF box is scanned for return after the last day of your rental period, a late fee of $25 per day per camcorder will be applied to the payment method used at booking. Just reach out to us at support@capturedbyfriends.ca if you need a little extra time and we'll do our best to work with you.
